One of my sisters is engaged and I have guilty pleasure; I can't help looking at adorable wedding blogs all morning long!! I envision her wedding in a thousand fun and creative ways and I hope she lets me bring some of those to fruition, including designing her "Save the Dates" and invites. :) Anyway, I stumbled upon this adorable and uber colorful dessert spread. Who doesn't love the idea of rock candy adorning a cake?? Seriously, it delights me. You can find all of the wedding info here.

Sew Intriguing

Sort of amazed by this work by Diem Chau. A whimiscal combination of silk thread and common ceramic and porcelain pieces makes me quite curious about the exact methods of creation. None the less the illustrative qualities of the embroidery paired with the commonalities of plates and tea cups creates a delightful narrative about, perhaps, the memories and characters behind these simple eating receptacles.
